Heh, it's odd to see the sun (and moon) going the 'wrong' way. In New Zealand, of course, they set from top right to bottom left.

Really? How odd. But then your moon is crooked, too.

Imagine an analogue clock, with hands. Imagine it on glass.

Look at it from the front and see the hour hand move from 1 to 7 - it move 'clockwise': top right to bottom left

Now stand behind the clock and watch it. The hand moves anti-clockwise: top left to bottom right.

I guess on the equator the sun sets in a vertical line...
