I know the feeling! It's always excited to start fresh on something new!

Is that your cat making all that noise? Step on it! teehee, just kidding

No doubt. I'm not sure how I made it through the first week and a half of NaNoWriMo before I discovered this.

Me too! I've been getting all sorts of ideas for other novels this month. Makes it hard to concentrate on this one.

I know the feeling. I'm keeping a separate journal during November for all the story and poem ideas that I can't work on now and I'm very excited to start working on them.

All my poetry is horrible. lol But I love to read it!

Thanksgiving schmanksgiving. Your family will understand.

I agree... Well, in as much as I've always thought that "fun" and "draining, hard slog" are flip-sides of the same coin. I can categorically say that I have never experienced anything quite like it before. It really is a totally different and challenging exercise that you really have to experience to fully understand. Try it if you haven't already, writers! And here's looking forward to next year... er... I think... ;-)

"Anxious"?... Oh, yes... Just over 10k to go and I'm feeling VERY anxious... :-/

I think I'll have a good old CRY if (WHEN!!) I hit 50k. And I'm NOT joking...

I feel ya, I ve written like 20 short stories and two novel in the span of 5 months..OBSESSIVE
