On April 7th at the Houdini Mansion, the newly reunited Stone Temple Pilots announced a fall tour, their first in almost 8 years. It will encompass over 65 dates that will start May 17th in Columbus, OH and hit all corners of North America at various outdoor ampitheaters and arenas. The first annual "Global Blue Planet Summit" took place April 3rd-5th, 2008 in Ko Olina, Hawaii. The goal is to end dependence on carbon-based fuels and stabilize the Earth's climate. Hawaii was chosen as a backdrop because it has been a model for ecological balance worldwide. The summit was conceived by philanthropist Henk B. Rogers. Contains soundbites from Robert Kennedy Jr., Mr. Rogers, and Elizabeth Lindsey.
