After setting up the first goal, Max is fouled hard in the box for what should have been a PK, and probably, a 2-nill lead. Inexplicably, there is no whistle as he's blown off the ball on a late challenge. Just like Liverpool!~ You don't get the calls!

Max plays 2 games in 5 hours for the Labor Day tourny and, as they say in Liverpool, he is knackered (tired). He set up the first goal in G1 and scored the 2nd and he set up the only goal in the 2nd game. A great day of work for the attacking midfielder who wears Number 8 like Steven Gerrard...

Coach Goofs on Max

Max is getting his winner's medal for the July 4th 2009 10U tournament in Midland Park. The coach is goofing on him because he threw a complete game shutout, 2-hitter at them the last time he faced them and well, the coach remembered.

Changeup induced grounder

Max throws a nice change and gets an easy grounder to short, where the 3rd baseman takes it and goes to 2nd for the lead runner. The 2nd baseman is affected, perhaps, by the man sliding into him and misses it. There is a great "Little Rascals moment" in here--watch the catcher after the play is botched...hilarious! Also pretty funny is the batter totally styling with his routine with measuring with the bat! My goodness, I love that stuff! That's why I think I'm going to enjoy the younger years more than the older years, because there's such an innocence at this age that I think diminishes as they get older and more serious. If you can't enjoy working with these guys, man, I just don't get that. I mean, how great is this? haha.
