4 months ago 0 + -Matt, at 07:03 -ish on the timeline of this video, how did you get that distorted effect--as if the camera had been dropped or something, almost tv like? I hope my question is clear...don't know how to describe it. I really love video editing. I'm a web design student and I had to take editing for my degree and wound up considering changing my major (decision time). Long story short, I learn new stuff by reading and watching other people's editing work. Currently I use a Canon Vixia HF10 and I'm just beginning. I'd love to hear from you.

Thank you for the really kind words. I really appreciate it dude!! I'm new to viddler, so I'm trying to upload all of my video journal in the next few days. Thanks for checking out my videos!

07:03 is one second before the video ends, and at that point the video is black.
Maybe try timed-commenting the exact point you mean. ;)

4 months ago 0 + -Where did you get all this beautiful video footage?
matthewb...
4 months ago 0 + -Hey man, the footage was almost all shot within a few hundred mile stretch of Florida. You can pretty much make it look like you've been all over the world just by shooting things in Florida, hehe.

4 months ago 0 + -Sorry about that, I meant between 00:12 and 00:14 ...the distortion you created. I must know how you did that! lol

4 months ago 0 + -You just cut a small part of a clip up into very tiny pieces and crop it at various sizes. Then add a glitchy sound to accompany it.
MacDavid
4 months ago 0 + -It's that simple?! You don't know how happy I am to have just learned this. lol Like I said, I'm finding video editing to be just too cool! Thanks again for taking the time out to explain.
