For some reason, I have a feeling this one will win.

I totally thought that these would be the good ones.

I thought they would at least be drinkable. I made it that way once, long ago, and it was bitter and nasty, so I think I may have gone too easy on it this time. I definitely need to try again to see if I can get it right.

I'm going to have to post this to the STeaP website.

I'm guessing that one of these two will win. I have no idea why...

LOL... no, I don't mind milk in chai. ;) I sort of put chai in its own category.

You disagree just as consistently as Joe and I... haha

Tazo is infamous for overflavoring their teas, so I figured this would be the flavorful one.

That's probably exactly how they make it... prepackaged mix.

It is. They used to sell the concentrate at Starbucks, but apparently no more. I tried three stores and none had it. One actually found it, but the girl realized at the last moment that she wasn't allowed to sell it to me - it was from their own stock. Finally got this at a supermarket.

looks like a box of Chandernagor from Mariage Freres - good stuff!

So, other than that last one, you didn't like any of them... do you typically only like Starbucks? What do you think is a GOOD chai?

My goal would be to replicate what the Indian restaurant serves. I think next time we go there, we're going to have to ask for the recipe.
