In April, 2008, a group of internationally renowned photographers traveled to the edge of the world, literally, to the remote island of Tasmania. Their mission was to road test specialized digital photography software designed by Adobe while capturing images from one of the world's most mysterious and varied geographic locations. Using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, photographers uploaded, sorted, keyworded, adjusted, and outputted their Raw images while still working in the field. The results were shared in real-time via internet blogs, web photo galleries, and video with hundreds of thousands of viewers. Ulefoss, Norway circa 1975 (v.2)

This 8mm film was taken by my father, Kris Aaland, around 1975, shortly after my Grandmother died. This is the Halvorsen family, Nove (my father's sister), Sigbjoren (Nove's husband), their three boys, Bjorn, Halvor, and Jon Anders, and my father's aunt, Ingeborg, eating supper at the family home in Ulefoss, Norway. The original is 8mm film, and this is a digital copy. The music is by my cousin Jon Anders Halvorsen.
