Bob Kaufman may be best known as his claymation caricature, used in the advertisements for Bob's Discount Furniture Stores. But Kaufman is also a large contributor to children's charities, giving away nearly $1 million each year to charitable organizations.
Kaufman hosted his 22nd annual charity golf outing today in Farmington, raising funds for a number of children's charities. The main benefactor was Camp Rising Sun, a camp for children with cancer. The charity is especially important to Kaufman as his nephew was diagnosed with cancer at a young age. The camp is free to campers thanks to volunteers and donations. Distributed by Tubemogul.
