Learning to read English when another language is spoken at home can be difficult for children. Given how important early literacy is to a child’s success as an adult, the West Hartford Public Libraries decided to take action by creating dual language kits.
Librarian Jane Breen hatched the idea for the kits, which contain books, DVDs, and CDs in both English and another language. Distributed by Tubemogul.
