Being a "good person" goes deeper than just having a good heart and being moral & upstanding (although that's a huge part). I think there's an inherent feeling of connection and trust that makes someone a "good person" to me. I've met "people that are good" in my life, but MY good people are the ones that stay around, have my back, & care for me without a blink of the eye. I guess everyone has different explanations of the good people in their lives. And, everyone, even the good ones, makes mistakes; nobody can be perfect. But, those ones that are willing to tear down their egos and pride, show their vulnerability in their flaws, and show sincere remorse are the ones that learn to be better people. I want people in my life who WANT to be good and who WANT to be there. Ya'll deserve a day of recognition!!
