Now you can play at being Harry Potter or Snape or whoever - depending on your avatar :) Right (or apple) click on the ground. Up comes the circle. You want the 'create' bit.

When you do that you get a teensy wand to play with.

Plus a load of shapes called Prims. Draw your cursor over them and click on one. Here I've chosen a cube.

When you click your wand on the ground a prim appears - voila! You have several options - notice the edit button at the top is highlighted. I have chosen to use a grid, position and stretch option.

Here I clicked on the red arrow and highlighted it.

You can pull the object - the prim - backwards and forwards laterally.

Now clicking anbd highlighting the blue arrow you can pull the prim up and down vertically.

Clicking on the red/green tabs allows you to drag the prim diagonally.

Clicking on the "Stretch" radio button allows you to stretch the prim in several directions.
