Nate Kincy and My Films (on one video tape)

I made a video tape that included some of the films that Nate Kincy produced and a film that I produced. All films seen here are films that I've edited and did sound for. If you want to see the films alone, please see the links below. Or, sit back, relax, and watch the films back to back.

Some of these films were edited on 3/4" tape and some on DVC-PRO tape. DVC-PRO is a professional brand tape made by Panasonic, not to be confused with DV-CAM which is Sony's professional brand.

The City of Long Beach, California Videos - Demo Tape

When I was working for The City of Long Beach Telecommunications Department (California), I was the Senior Video Editor creating programs for the local government channel, Home Town Television 21. This video contains excerpts of the programs I edited for the city. 1997-1999.

Featuring the Long Beach Ice Dogs (IHL), The Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific, sports around Long Beach, and more...

Shallamar Poole and myself, Antonio Allah (Edward) did most of the camera work.

I edited all of the video in this clip.

The Flying Book

Jules Christian and Dalonte Smith stars in a short film comedy about a cool guy and a nerd battling after ONE book, A Thousand Clowns.

This was my first EVER film. NO AUDIO except the music and crazy sounds effects added later in post production. This movie was shot in 1993 and post produced in 1997. Shot on Super8 film, film transferred to Digital Betacam, edited on DVC-PRO digital tapes, and transferred to DVD.

Nate Kincy - The Deal

A drug deal goes bad.

This movie is a short film and no audio. Music was added to add impact. Totally fake sounding gun fire sound effect was added (unfortunately, the left and right channels are reversed in this video). The trailer in the beginning of the film is a production that I did not work on.

This movie, wow, needs work. But this was years ago. I shot this movie at Long Beach City College back in 1993. Shot on S-VHS and MiniDV, then dubbed to professional digital tape Panasonic DVC-PRO, I begun post-production in 1996.

Well, the fact is that I never completed post and has been collecting dust ever since. Since DVC-PRO VTRs cost $30,000 each, I have not seen this video in over 10 years. Now for the first time, I am able to see this video and other videos.

KEEP IN MIND: This is the video edit only. The audio sweetening has and will never be completed. The vocal overdub has not be completed either.

However, as I convert more of my DVC-PRO tapes to DVD, then converting them to DiVX, I will add more videos to tie the storyline up some more. One day, I will finish the film. For now, this is what I got.
