11 months ago 0 + -I had a good day too... and then I found myself being led into a surreal world (I knew it was only a matter of time, writing in this way): moments ago one of my characters walked through a door in a drystone wall and entered an Enid Blyton type Enchanted Forest (I loved those books as a kid and there's a part of me that's always wanted to go there, so it's perhaps not surprising as this novel is going to contain MANY self indulgencies - it's probably the only way I shall reach the finishing line!!). TOTALLY unplanned! I had no idea when he stepped through that doo what was going to be on the other side!
So still a good day, but I've now opened my first major can of plot worms... the first of many, I can just sense it...
Oh, and I hit 11k!! :-)
