LOL, this is so win. I haven't yelled at my Mac once since switching.

My PC SLEEPS too when i close the lid.. hibernate and sleep are 2 different modes. Sleep saves the system state to ram then powers everything off except for the ram, and that draws less power than the machine being on. Hibernate takes a snapshot of the memory and the machine and all currently running apps saves it to the hard drive and totally powers the machine off, both systems do both, and they both do it in the same way, but still OSX does come up out of hibernate faster usually. Use the truth man you don't have to spin things to make your favorite choice in Operating Systems look good.
