A Successful Wind Turbine in Hull, MA

Wind Turbines, such as this one in Hull, MA, have apparently been very successful in reducing the costs of power for those communities who deploy them. And it's quite a majestic sight, not the "blight" some of the wealthier residents around the Kennedy Compound in Hyannis seem to suggest. But certainly, we all know that letting those wealthy Kennedy neighbors continue to sail unfettered in the waters of Nantucket Sound is far more important than the fossil fuel energy savings that would be generated by placing "wind farms" in those same waters. On the Friday before the Memorial Day weekend, 2008, we took a trip to the beachfront community of Hull, Massachusetts and stopped at Nantasket Beach.
