Gamestar Mechanic [Institute of Play, Design Institute]: Minneapolis Design Camp (Long Video)

For a group of teens attending the Design Camp at the University of Minnesota in August, game design never looked so sweet. The teens designed digital games using Gamestar Mechanic, a game-making game developed by Gamelab, and Big Games, or games played in real world spaces. The week-long workshop was taught by Katie Salen and Eric Socolofsky and supported by the Design Institute.
