By this comment I meant only about iPhoto not the Eye-fi card it self. Eye-fi will work with mac and pc.

hello how re i am faith william s from glendora in southern california but presently in Africa for an important issues

Kewl, I will definitely check that out as I plan to use my D40 more often

Colin, you can get adapter cards to put an SD card in a CF card on Amazon.

Here's a review of one. The review states the read/write speeds are only slightly affected. This might be a giddy investment if you want the Eye-Fi Explore Card.

The other one is called the Eye-Fi Home - It only wirelessly transfers the photos from the camera to you computer; not to the internet. Once they're on your computer, then you can transfer them to the internet.

LOL...Yeah, that was my dog Sammy. He is the only dog we have that snores.

Ohhhhhhhhh dang! I thought it used GPS. I guess I automatically associated geotagging with GPS. Silly me!

What if you're near a locked Wi-Fi connection? Will it somehow hijack the connection info and still geotag the photos?

It just uses the information from the location of the access point. It wont actually log onto the router.

2 Megabits up is GOOD to me! in Australia our connection is about 500kbps up!

In Canada it's about the same.

I think the next thing for Eye-Fi is a GPS version.

Haha! Yeah, I remember when 1GB Sony Memory Sticks were released and cost $1,400.

Ahh... technology!

Sexy postroll! No doubt that's from iMovie '09.
