Hostwell started out in February of 2009. I asked myself, "how can I help small businesses in this economic climate?" A las! Cheap web hosting was the answer. I decided to offer $99/year web hosting. I soon came to my senses and realized that there isn't a point in competing on price (GoDaddy will just offer it cheaper), but if I aim for value, that's something no one can compete with. And so Hostwell developed. Here's the story.
