So THAT'S what Bill looks like at 3:00 a.m. without TV makeup. (I hope without makeup...)

Bert takes the cake for Best-Lit Cameo Appearance. And that voice... how many women have given way to the smooth baritone voice of Bert Stephani?

Okay, am I the only person who is now extremely curious about what Ming Thein actually looks like?

Oh, yeah. That's what viral video needs. One more college guy lighting his farts...

(I don't have the heart to tell Rui how much better his pix would look if he would open up that umbrella.)

Maybe he's superstitious...you know he is inside!?

At this point Friday morning, I got "the look" and a "Who's Brittney?" from The Missus as she watched the video with me. (Note: She didn't say anything upon Ogalthorpe's appearance...)

Knotty on the Pottyy! (How many beers did THIS take?)

OUT: "Consider the donkey." -- IN: "I'm the one on the toilet, here!"

Hey, Dave, more important: Tell us about the gear on your wall!

is from late night Strobist reading ;) This was made with my G9, great camera for everything.

Nick, if you can earn a living with that, you are a better man than I...

Check that music: (Chicka-chicka-BOW-WOW) Anyone else think Jeremy is cruising over to "one of those" kind of shoots?

OUT: "I'm the one on the toilet!" -- IN: "I've got 15 pounds of studio power packed in my bag..."

I was half-expecting someone to turn on the shower...

Bert should be doing liquor commercials. Or maybe working in the phone sex industry.

Scary thought: Where is Patrick's backlight mounted?

Susan lost it when Ogalthorpe jumped in. And I seriously gotta get to one of these "open bar" meetups in Seattle...

Guys, thanks so much for this. The community that has grown up here is far better than anything else that has come out of this site. Thanks for everything. -DH

thank you david. i wasn't in the video so i figured that i would say thanks in here. i have been a part of the community for a mere couple months now but in that time i have learnt a great deal about lighting in general and how to effectively use it off camera. thank you for sharing your knowledge with all of us and helping each and every one of use better ourselves through our photography using the techniques that you introduced us to. -travis ballard

Is it just me, or does anybody else want to hear Bert narrate a love story?

dude...you sound just like Bill Paxton from Twister!

Whats even more disturbing is that the door is wide open!

Seriously, what are you listening to OG? That rocks!

Chase, when are you returning all of my equipment? You said you would only need it for a day.

I think that the umbrella opened wouldn't fit on the video... damn me :)

I think we need to have a runnoff between David and Darien for "best legs in an off-camera lighting promotional video".....
