The 27th annual Okinawan Festival at Kapiolani Park, Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009. Dance and drum performances, shave ice and andagi, arts and crafts, an Okinawan marketplace, information on the Battle of Okinawa and the Pigs from the Sea (courtesy Shari Tamashiro of Kapiolani Community College), and a special jig by the Anda-men.
