About This Video
Paul followed up churches in letter form because he was concerned about the development of the new Christians as Disciples of Christ. The New Testament gives many "Transformational Indicators" (TIs) that show progress in maturity as a disciples of Jesus Christ. the greeting in 1 Thessalonians gives us atleast 9 TIs that indicate the God-centeredness of a "Disciplemaking Church." Some indicators would include regenrate believing, robust preaching, Theological depth, humble serivce...
With all the church ministry methods out there, the church should first develop their theology of disciplemaking by definining wht a disciple is based in the TIs in the New Testament and only then look for methods that are congruent with their philosophy and definition of Disciplemaking.
