THE RUMORED STORY: Michael Jackson and his music team were origanlly recruited to do the music for Sonic 3. The music was all finished and ready to go until MJs big scandal broke out. As a result, SEGA thought it would be best to pull his music and name from the game/credits. However, since Sonic 3 was already on a tight time budget (Several levels had to be cut) the music remained, but MJ and his credit did not.
