This came to mind because a friend called to thank me for advising him to get out of a bad relationship. He finally did after 2 months, and now, he's trying to turn over a new leaf. I had told him that I saw him losing motivation to do what really madde him feel alive and that, as soon as he accepted he had a choice to cut loose a relationship that was holding him down, he would would be able to move on with his own happiness.
