The claim that 'mutations only harm the living being' is totally illogical - it is based on only half the story. It used to be believed that black swans did not exist because no-one had ever seen them. It was held as 'fact' that black swans did not - could not - exist for this reason. Then when Australia was discovered ... black swans were discovered - so black swans do exist. In the same way, you cannot logically prove something does not exist by the fact that you have never seen it. The same argument applies logically to having never seen successful mutations, and having never seen god; you can't prove either exists or does not exist by the fact that you have not seen it.

If only half of 1 percent of mutations are beneficial, that is all it takes, over a massively long time, for those mutations to live on and be passed on to offspring.

Genetic mutations are constantly and randomly occuring - by chance. Think of siamese twins, born stuck together - or chickens with 2 heads - or other naturally occuring genetic mutations. Mutations do occur. Most of them do not help the animal to succeed more. Some just might. Those mutations will live on

Again, there is FAR more proof supporting Evolution than of some 'god' being. Question: Why do you WANT or NEED to belive there is a god? You are strong enough to live very well without the need to believe in some unknown higher being.

Calling Evolution an 'imaginary' mechanism brings to question - how much more imaginary is the concept of 'god'? Maybe the proof of evolution is not yet complete - but there is FAR more evidence to support the theory of Evolution than of some whimsical fancy of a 'god'
