World Ventures founders Wayne Nugent and Mike Azcue wanted to do something that hadn't been done before. They wanted to combine discount travel and MLM. They created World Ventures in December of 2005, and now that company is completely debt free, and has booked millions of dollars in travel. Members can not only travel, they can choose to become resellers of World Ventures travel products.

The President of World Ventures is Robert Oblon, and the Chief Marketing Officer is Dan Stamen. The Dream Trip director is Grant Merz. Dream Trips are what the discount vacations are called. These vacations can be anything from a high end cruise, to a white water rafting trip.

World Venture's exclusive travel provider is Rovia. Rovia is partnered with Riu Hotels & Resorts, Funjet Vacations, MLT Vacations, Outrigger Resorts, Elite Island Resorts, Barcelo Resorts, Carnival Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Go Go Vacations, and Melia Hotels & Resorts.

The World Ventures founders envisioned a company that would sell not only affordable vacations, but would allow members to become part of the company themselves. Members can become Leisure Travel Consultants, allowing them to sell vacations through Rovia. It does not make them travel agents, just Rovia resellers. Members are compensated for recruiting others to sell the products, and when people buy travel through their website.

A huge number of LTCs get frustrated and quit when they find out how hard it is to compete in the travel industry. Even though world wide travel accounts for 8 trillion dollars every year, it is an industry that competes mainly on price. To make it worse, LTCs are taught to send friends, family, and co-workers to their websites to make their sales.

The number of visitors a website receives is a function of knowing how to drive traffic to it. Word of mouth through a person's circle of friends is not going to get the
