The Denver East High School Angels, coached by Rudy Carey, takes on rival Montbello High School Warriors, coached by David Carey (Rudy's son).Last year's overtime win by the underdog Montbello over the eventual 5A state champion Angels was the best basketball game I've seen in my life.Montbello lost eight seniors, but still managed to put in for a pretty great game.And their drumline just can't be beat.

Maestro at the Grammys

Denver's hip-hop violinist, Jeff "Maestro" Hughes, was a member of the orchestra backing the Foo Fighters at the 50th Grammy Awards on Sunday. This video belongs to CBS, but I re-cut it to amplify the performance Maestro (or at least the back of his head) put in.
