Day 32 of the eLIFELIST.com bike trip across America. About an hour over the Colorado border we ran into thousands of grasshoppers in the middle of the road. We biked through them for about 45 minutes and they would jump up at the last second and hit your legs and face. Brent found a dead one in my bike's crank a week later. It was like something out of the plague.
