About This Video
Day 28 of the eLIFELIST.com bike trip across the country. We heard through other bikers coming east that there was someone opening up her house to cyclists in Newton Kansas. We met up with Liz and she told us to head to the house she was "housesitting" while she finished up work, but to be careful of a little black dog because he's pretty afraid of men. Needless to say "Oscar" got out of the house immediately as we arrived and ran off. We looked for him for over an hour, shouting his name, running in our bike clothes, fearing we had just lost a dog that belonged to someone we didn't even know. All this after we'd biked over 100 miles to get to Newton. Finally we found him and chased him on our bikes until he got tired and returned to the house. Very funny scene in hindsight but we were flipping out in the moment.
