About This Video
This was our first annual Jazz Organ Fellowship Gala that took place in San Jose, CA on August 20, 2009. It featured Rhoda Scott and Wil Blades on organs; Scott E-Dog Petersen on tenor sax; Jack Tone Riordan on guitar; and Akira Tana and Jeff Mars on drums. Rhoda Scott received our very first JOF Award and four pioneers of jazz organ were posthumously inducted into our newly created 'Jazz Organ Hall of Fame': Thomas 'Fats' Waller, Wild Bill Davis, Jimmy Smith and Larry Young, Jr. There is more information about JOF at www.jazzorganfellowship.org
