This is a rare matching of Jack McDuff and John Handy. In fact, John said they were once neighbors but had not seen one another in decades. I brought the organ and Leslie out to the end of a San Francisco pier that night for Jack. Carl Lockett came from another gig (note the tux) and Brian Melvin played drums. This was June 15, 1997.
