Gary's Vook promo (The swear words are censored — half the video is 'beeps'.)

Oh I'm very guilty of swearing way to much. I'm kinda embarrassed by it sometimes. From here on out I'm going to try not to swear.

Hi Derek, I always have trouble with the pronunciation of the the word vocabulary. Somehow there's something difficult in it..

Ummm "heck" isn't a swearword lol. "Hell" is (sometimes in schools).

The whole point of swearing (usually) is to get a reaction out of people other than in the usual manner. Saying "this pen is a piece of shit" is likely to draw more attention than just saying "this pen sucks". No one cares if your pen sucks. But, it you say it's a piece of shit, likely anyone around is gonna wanna know what kinda pen it is so they don't use the same one. It's not always that sort of situation, usually swearing is impulsive, not said on purpose/accident... just said. Like any other word.

I have to keep reminding myself that I am in the minority in regards to everything.

That said, the very first time I decided I would never travel on Delta Airlines was when @cc_chapman tweeted (in 2007) how horrible their service was. One tweet. No swearing.

(If I was able to search that far back on Twitter, I would link the tweet.)
