Mom at Midway Airport

While waiting for separate Southwest flights at Chicago's Midway Airport, Mom and I found this rocking chair that had the characters from The Wizard of Oz painted on it. It was very unusual to find something like that in an airport. Regardless, we took turns sitting in it and rocking back and forth. Here's Mom talking incoherently whilst rocking away. Yup, I know why I never get embarrassed. Because I have a Mom like that. :P

The Homestead Dinner

Rachel and I went to The Homestead for dinner [in April]. It's a very nice restaurant made from three old cabins. There is a lovely aroma in the air as soon as you enter. The menu is small but very tasty! Desserts are a must! Indoor and outdoor seating.

My First Rock Band

I recently stayed at #thebeachhouse in Venice Beach, California. The first night I stayed there we played Rock Band. I've played Guitar Hero before, but not Rock Band. The first instrument I was made to play was my vocal chords. You might want to cover your ears for this.
