NME Day Three

Day Three Michelle, Joel, and I went out to Café Bellagio for some 2 a.m. dessert. Thus, we got to bed at about 4 a.m. We woke up around 10:30 a.m. and got to the expo at about 11:30 a.m. I met Brian Shaler on the expo floor (and tweeted it; and failed). I also finally got to meet Anji Bee; she has a giddy-cool podcast! We got some cool YouSentIt planes. Lisa made a video about them. I hung out in the afternoon by the pool with Rob, Joel, Greg, and Sarah. I interviewed Chris Marquardt for the first video episode of Photograview. That was totally giddy-awesome-rad-omgz! Joel and I had left our gear in Rob's room and he went to the Stratosphere to go on the rides, so we chilled for a while with Colin in his room. Amazing things are happening that will be launched in the next few weeks on Viddler. I see some people didn't think the NME was as good this year (see blog post). I have nothing to compare it to, but I can understand where they're coming from.

In the morning I sat is some AMAZING traffic on the way to pick up Jan. Jan, Jackie, Cam, and I went to Bondi Beach and ate lunch at Fat Olive. SOOOO YUMMMYY!!! I gave blood in the city with my blood brother, Chris. 500ml later I got treats. :) Then Jan and I headed to Mac&Me to pick up my new WD 1TB My Book Pro Edition II. We played on the seesaw and frolicked on the beach. (Jan's photos)

Twitter's back! (Jan's in San Fran and I'm jealous!) No library this morning. :( Work at the candy store. I listened to some PCH on the bus ride home. When I got home I watched Amanda on JTV; hilarious of course! Again, I watched parts of The Biggest Loser during dinner. CHALLENGE: Today, I had this idea of getting people to stop eating horrible foods (such as McDonalds), horrible drinks (such as Coca Cola), and stop smoking. Those who currently consume such horribleness are eligible to win a prize if you get healthy warm-turkey-style. :) Water For The Giddy, everyone! I also noticed Facebook now has chat.

In the morning I spoke jibberish to my sister. Hah! It Brandice and Jan's Birthday!!!!!!!!! Several hours after I woke up I was performing my debut role as a scientific officer on Out Of The Blue. I rocked it! On the way home I picked up the treats I left on the bus yesterday. Phew! When I got home Justine's Chat Fest was still going. I was soooo excited!!! (Listen to the episode here) After the Chat Fest I skyped with Leah, and then with Greg (for 4 hours). To wind down the evening I had dinner, watched some 'losers' on TV, and had fun with iMovie crashing on me..

Today I got up extra-early to go to Australia again. I had lots of fun; solidered it up, and met the photographer for the film --- sweet! Afterwards, I scootered down to King Street Wharf to meet my friend, Nikki, for her 24th birthday dinner/drinks. Sadly, I was dressed "too casual" for Cargo Bar. Though I didn't think of dressing up to go to Australia at 4am. So, I caught a train to a bus that will take me home. When I arrived, I realised the next bus wasn't for an hour. Not wanting to wait around, nor call someone at home to pick me up, I decided to scooter along the bus route --- I ended up scootering for over 7km; to a bus stop close to my house. It was way ace.
