A Stay-at-Home Kid

Almost every day I wake up to the sound of Skype — my girlfriend calling me from overseas. My cats are typically snuggled on my bed. I go through the day’s tweets, post photos from my mobile phone, and work on the computer for a few hours. I usually forget to eat breakfast until around 4pm. Whoops. That’s my giddy day at home.

NYE 2009 in Texas

I celebrated NYE 2009 in Fort Worth, Texas, with Rachel (whom - at that point - I had a crush on). We went to Main Event for arcade games and a buffet dinner. Then when I was closer to midnight we sat in the car, listened to the radio, and shot off party poppers. Very different to a Sydney New Years. Removing My Facial Hair!

The Homestead Dinner

Rachel and I went to The Homestead for dinner [in April]. It's a very nice restaurant made from three old cabins. There is a lovely aroma in the air as soon as you enter. The menu is small but very tasty! Desserts are a must! Indoor and outdoor seating.

SXSWi 2009 - Day One

Rachel and I traveled from Fort Worth to Austin and checked in to our hotel. Then we proceeded to get some food. Next, we attempted to go to two different meetups but skipped both to hang out with Sarah Cooley and Rob Blatt at Fado Irish Pub. We waited for Rev3's Scam School to start recording, but they took too long so we continued on to Techset at The Belmont. We met up with Gary Vaynerchuk, AJ Vaynerchuk, Chris Darbo, Drew Olanoff, Amanda Bolten, and Jake Marsh. Day one was just settling in. We still have four more days to go! My First Rock Band

I recently stayed at #thebeachhouse in Venice Beach, California. The first night I stayed there we played Rock Band. I've played Guitar Hero before, but not Rock Band. The first instrument I was made to play was my vocal chords. You might want to cover your ears for this.
