10 months ago 0 + -maybe true, but it only indicates that india has a large population. the wording of the stat conveys the feeling that india is smarter than the usa, or that iq's in india are higher than iq's in the usa. the 'translation' - "india has more honors kids than the usa" does not follow. this stat does not look at actual iq's-- maybe india's highest iq's are LOWER than the highest iq's in the usa.

10 months ago 0 + -that's logically impossible. what can correctly be said is that we HOPE we are preparing them.

10 months ago 0 + -this is an unfair comparison: bermuda has a population of 66 thousand people. the usa has a population of 300 million. tho', it's true that the usa is lagging behind other parts of the world in certain types of telecommunications penetration.

10 months ago 0 + -this is invalid for a few reasons. first, the stat does not say that half of the college curriculum is replaced every two years. second, new technical information does not make previous technical information "outdated"-- previous information is the foundation for the new information. third, curricula do not throw out previous knowledge, they simply add the new knowledge to the curriculum. fourth, some new knowledge does not immediately make it into curricula, it takes time for some new knowledge to be accepted or disseminated.
