Bilal Philips is a very popular radical Islamic English speaking preacher who founded and headed Islamic Studies for Preston University, Ajman, United Arab Emirates.
He also worked with the United States Military and preached to their troops.

Mistakes:
The Islamic Center Bilal started in Dubai is now called "Discover Islam" which is what I knew it as at the time (I had the old name right though)
The youth camp was not in Auckland, it left from there
I heard he was made to leave KSA, not "asked"
I should have mentioned that his being told to leave KSA due to "some misunderstanding" was what I heard at the time from people close to him
