About This Video
This video is
With the conveniently timed protests in Tibet, along with accusations that the Dali Lama is responsible for violence in Tibet, comes new scrutiny of China and it's human rights abuses. So, my question to you is: Should the United States boycott the Olympics in China?
As always, this was shot and edited on a Nokia N95 phone.

1 year ago 0 + -Though nothing can be proved, I would not be surprised if the Dali Lama encouraged protests in Tibet JUST before the running of the Torch

1 year ago 0 + -Yes, but he has also been on the CIAs payroll for almost 20 years - that's not an allegation or an accusation, it's fact. I'm not saying he encouraged VIOLENCE, but I do think the timing and organization of the protests is very convenient.

1 year ago 0 + -Well, he flat out has encouraged non-violent protests, and continues to do so publicly. China's allegation is that he encouraged the violence, whether or not he's encouraging protests isn't an allegation, that's also a fact. When you said allegations I immediately assumed you were referring to violence in the protests.

1 year ago 0 + -I'm certainly not defending China, but I don't believe the Dali Lama to be as altruistic as his public persona would suggest.

1 year ago 0 + -Oh, I agree. I'm not one of the people claiming him to be a holy figure, and he is a head of state, which means he plays politics. That being said, I still don't think he's encouraging the violence. Which isn't what you're really saying either, but I couldn't help but butt my nose in. ;-)
