Performing the exercise with a neutral grip is better for the shoulders because of less internal rotation and works the triceps more than the conventional pronated grip.
1. Make sure your shoulder blades are squeezed together.
2. Push the dumbbells up fast without losing control.
3. Slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position under control. The dumbbells should be at the sides of your chest in the bottom position.
