On Friday afternoon Rob, Todd, Andrew, Chris, and Tom all went up to Rustler's Rooste which is just south of Fry's Electronics south of Baseline, in Phoenix.

It's a sort of western restaurant with fun stuff.

Matador Coffee Grand Opening

I can't remember the last time cheese and grapes were ever paired so perfectly as at the Matador Coffee Bar opening at Sagasta Salon. On Saturday evening I stopped in to check out the new place and for the grand opening party. A large crowd had formed both inside and outside and appeared to be having a very good time. The late September weather is perfect for this sort of thing.

No doubt part of the crowd were customers of the salon, as the booze was flowing. The food pairings may have been intended for the wine, but I thought the cheese and grapes went really well with my latte.

I made my way through the line of people to the bar and finally had a chance to meet Mario Martusciello (one of the owners of Matador Coffee Roasters). He was behind the counter working the espresso machine. Of course, being the rebel that I am I had a latte. It was excellent. Since it?s so close to my office, I'll no doubt have to make it a regular stop whenever I?m driving on Indian School Rd.

The Matador Coffee grand opening was THE coffee-event of the month for sure. Be sure to stop in and support local coffee.

Office on 3rd St. in Phoenix, AZ

This office had plenty of space, but it was kind of odd in that it had a huge lobby area which we couldn't figure out how to use.

Price was 13.50 and I think it was around 1600 sq ft.

Immediately after looking at this place, we looked at the property on Camelback and that is our current #1 pick.

Bertha's Cafe

On August 10th, the team went over to look at a possible office space location and decided to treat Peter to lunch.

We had never been to Bertha's Cafe before, but knew we had to try it.

I had the Chicken Pesto (Sliced chicken, tomatoes, lettuce, roasted red peppers and pesto mayo) and it was very good!

I drove up to Cave Creek yesterday for a meeting and stopped at Cave Creek Coffee Company. They have quite the morning rush of customers. I was there at 8 am and was surprised by the number of people coming and going.
