Australian Chef, Benjamin Christie visited the Blue Frog Truffle Farm on the outskirts of Canberra for their annual winter truffle hunt. The truffle hunt for the black truffle started off early in the morning allowing the truffle dogs to hunt down the scent of the black truffle.

Australian Chef, Benjamin Christie met with Alexandrina Cheese Company's cheese maker, Dan McCaul who showed Benjamin through their range of cheeses and how to make cheese. At the Willunga Farmers market near McLaren Vale in South Australia, Australian Chef, Benjamin Christie caught up with Alan Steinert from the Fleurieu Milk Company. The Fleurieu Milk Company is one of the only companies in Australia producing A2 milk.

Knife Sharpening

Benjamin Christie and Leigh Hudson talk about knife sharpening. Leigh Hudson from the Chefs Armoury knows just about everything there is to know about chef knives; from how they are made to the steel which each company uses. He can tell you the difference in how they make Japanese chef knives to how they make European chef knives. I suggested to Leigh that we should do video on how to sharpen knives, as the Chefs Armoury provides an overnight knife sharpening service. During the video we talk about the process for getting an edge with Japanese water stones, through to honing knives on steels and diamond steels.
