You can import/export your OPML (which I've done and it seems to work great) - but I wanted to slim down my subscriptions substantially and I thought the best way to do that was by going through all of them.

When you say it's a pain to switch.. can you not export to opml and then import? (I use Newsfire / NetNewsWire and switch about a lot, have also used GReader though).

The keyboard shortcuts are absolutely KILLER! Not that any desktop application doesn't have them as well, but it really makes this web application worth the trouble. The best part about my switch, I went from 777 feeds to 157 feeds! Yippee!!!

I made the switch a couple weeks ago as well. It was a pain moving all my feeds over, but I'm really liking it now that I've settled in. The keyboard shortcuts are especially nice.
