The Midwest Exposed Talent Review Seminar Summary...

Jive Records Senior VP of A&R Wayne Williams, who is responsible for discovering R. Kelly, Joe, Syleena Johnson and Mystikal, is looking for new talent. Kevin Shine, A&R consultant to Wayne Williams has been placed in charge of this search throughout the South and Midwest, and attended the Midwest Exposed in September 2009 in Cincinnati, Ohio USA.

Who is Kevin Shine?
Kevin Shine is a former Music Business Professor at Columbia College in Chicago. Mr. Shine has an extensive resume of accomplishments in the industry. Besides working alongside his mentor Wayne Williams with major artists in the industry, he has helped some of Atlanta's up and coming producers get placements on R. Kelly's album that features the single "Supa Man High" with OJ Da Juiceman; this record was placed by Kevin Shine.

Although Kevin is no longer a professor, he continues to teach and create new vehicles to educate through his company called The F.I.R.M. (Foundation for Innovative Resource Management ). This company is a realization of his vision to redefine the way the music industry functions by creating openings that encourage, educate and groom talent through various programs such as Writing Sessions.

Kevin Shine will be launched a 5 city tour with Live Nation in Fall 2009. He also partnered with Atlanta's #1 radio station V-103 and other major entities for other projects.
