He bought a Canon 5D-MK2 with a 50mm 1.4 lens and produced the (speaking part) of the video for me, complete with separate audio recording hooked up to an external recorder. It's a whole new set-up! His (new) camera takes both photo and HD video - and it has a wonderful warm quality about it. He specifically used this lens for the depth of field...
