it's what some call a "directional twintip" ski

for more about Naxo alpine touring bindings: http://www.feedthehabit.com/skiing/naxo-nx01-alpine-touring-binding-review/

actually is a smooth ride in pow, vs. a center-mounted freestyle mount job.

FYI: Large turn radius means straighter sidecut, which means longer turns and less hooky in powder.

the Kilowatt is even LOWER than the Mothership...on a 185cm vs. a 182cm! So the mounting location on the BD Kilowatt is MUCH farther back than the Line ski, comparatively.

or I would have purchased the Karhu Team 100 skis: http://www.backcountry.com/store/KAH0047/Karhu-Team-100-Telemark-Skis.html

yeah lets you ski switch in-bounds -- for skiing switch out of bounds, go for the karhu team 100.
