You must have missed the beginning of the video where I implied (via a rhetorical question, "Have you ever..") that many people ask themselves the same question. I did not say that I came up with the phrase "Is it Friday yet?" All designers (web, print, etc) go through phases where they want to design a line of t-shirts. I have, many times. The beauty of the phrase is that it can be a common theme and I can make fun designs to go around it. When buying that shirt, people are not buying *just* the phrase. They're buying the typography and the graphic design. Both are probably equally "far from new or original." Rosewood (the font) is VERY common. I did not invent the silhouette nor the outline of the silhouette. I am not pioneering a new-fangled effect called "splatter." That has been done before, too. Don't buy my recycled, unoriginal, uninspired designs. *shrug*

Yeah, it's cool to have new versions of the shirt, Acme, I agree. I was just perplexed by the whole, "I just thought of this new idea" type of thing... a simple Google search reveals that the idea is far from new or original. *shrug*
