About This Video
Using Obadiah Parker's cover of Outkast's "Hey Ya", I made this Adobe Flash typography animation. This was inspired by animations like The Hush Sound's "Lion's Roar", and movie scene animations like those for Pulp Fiction and Ocean's Eleven. It was a fun exercise in freestyle Flash animation and linear timeline tweening (which was a nice change from my specialty: programmatic animation (though, I used some programming in the later scenes of this video).

10 months ago 0 + -Yeah, smells AS. Messing with timeline animations is something I don't like, but pieces like this one would be a real drag to code in pure AS. It's the wisdom - use proper tool for proper task :)

10 months ago 0 + -Yeah, animations like these must be done using time line, they are too customized to be done with AS ^^. I prefere using AS to create random animations or interactive aimation, and you can also combine the two...
