I love wheat bread. And whole grain. I outgrew the white bread fad.

I do too, but for grilled cheese sometimes it overpowered the cheesiness without lots o' butter/margarine. :) I LOVE whole grain peanut butter sandwich and toast!

Ohhh.. the inside? I don't do that most of the time.

I normally butter the other side before I put it on the stove; I'm too afraid I'll burn myself. :P

I have burned myself too... it's not always as seamless as this time! haha

Butter.. margarine.. I like both. Only thing I hate about butter is it's IMPOSSIBLE to spread right out of the fridge!

Yeah, maybe try buttering on a plate and THEN put it in the pan. :)

Six? That seems rather long.. I turn mine up high and have it on for a couple mins each side.

Slow steady grilling of each side increases likelihood of an even toast, AND the cheese will melt better. :)

OOooo clever! Though you could used heated plates.. lol (dunno where you'd get them from..)

You can microwave your plate, but I've burned myself that way... lol :)

which reminds me...I'm a margarine type of person. (I've even got the same kind..."everything's better with Blue Bonnet on it"

Oh, I like the idea of an instructional video on clipping herbs.
