      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href=&quot;http://www.viddler.com/explore/brandice/&quot; &gt;brandice&lt;/a&gt; posted a reply (2:49):&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Plungers are indeed just the rubber part of a toilet plunger, but that's the not the only way to mute a brass horn. :)  There are bucket, cup, practice, and straight mutes, to name the most commonly used ones.
