I shot some video today of the iPhone and wanted to begin to compare things to the Nokia?s I?ve got as well. This is mainly the iPhone with a few phyiscal comparisons to the N95 and the N800. I?ll dive deeper into specific features and applications in future pieces.

1 year ago 0 + -i never knew about these nokia's. Where do you get the one with a 5MP camera?
atmasphere (5:08)
1 year ago 0 + -I believe both dell.com and buy.com now sell it. NokiaUSA.com as well.... runs about $750, but it's around $650 from buy.com last I heard.

1 year ago 0 + -You can load 8 tabs maximum, each tab is only allotted 10Mb cache. So if the page exceeds that size, it will not load. Just a little tidbit.
atmasphere (9:32)
1 year ago 0 + -I'd read about the 8 tab limit, but have yet to get there...

1 year ago 0 + -I think the YouTube implementation is great. It really shows that any video sharing site could pull this off once the iPhone is opened up. ;) ;)
atmasphere (18:52)
1 year ago 0 + -I hope you can pull it off. My videos are all ready and waiting on your servers in H.264 mp4 format...
I like the YouTube implementation as well - though wish I was also able to get to my YouTube page to see and reply to comments instead of auto-opening the app when I click a link to YT.

symbiang... (3:16)
1 year ago 0 + -It fascinates me that the iPhone has such poor music listening options. No stereo speakers, recessed headphone jack, no Stereo BT.
atmasphere (3:16)
1 year ago 0 + -Recessed headphone is a bummer - no question. I'm not looking to replace my Shure earphones anytime soon ... doubt there are A2DP devices that compare. Speaker sound while nice on a mobile as an option is pretty low on my list of things to look for...
symbiang... (4:10)
1 year ago 0 + -I don't understand the comparison, either. The N800 is quite obviously not a phone, and doesn't pretend to be one.
atmasphere (4:10)
1 year ago 0 + -So negative my man. I was only holding it up as a comparison since I have it handy and it's a touch screen, web browsing device... not unlike the iPhone.
They are not in the same class of devices, though having it all in one like the iPhone reduces the chances I want to also carry the N800 -- even if the iPhone supported DUN.
symbiang... (4:10)
1 year ago 0 + -Sorry, I didn't mean to attack you in that. I meant all the people saying the N800 loses cause it's not a phone.
atmasphere (4:10)
1 year ago 0 + -No problem - I did not think you were attacking me. Starting to feel your hate of the iPhone though... LOL!
The comparison is somewhat natural - both are full touch, tablet style devices. Though that's where it ends.
