1 year ago 0 + -In the case depicted here, very little RAM was in use, so the computer could enter safe sleep quickly. In other circumstances, it can indeed take as long as, say, 20 seconds for my 2GB machine to enter safe sleep.

1 year ago +1 + -Reason has since dispelled the conviction that lead to the adamant tone of this video and the article it accompanies. I misunderstood how safe sleep works.
